If you are planning to establish your own business this year; there’s good news for you!

The fees for registering your company at the Office of Company Registrar has been completely exempted for fiscal year 2023/24. This means that you will not be required to pay any fees for registering your company at the Office of Company Registrar, regardless of your authorised capital.

This provision also applies to any fees relating to capital increase for existing companies, establishing branch or communication offices of foreign companies, and registration of profit not distributing companies.

However, this exemption does not apply to any fees that may be required in obtaining approvals or licences from other concerned bodies applicable to your company and registering for PAN and VAT.

You can also now register a company with an authorised capital of as low as Rs. 100.
