The fellowship program was officially launched on Monday at Tribhuvan University’s School of Management (SOMTU), which is also its collaborator in the program. 20 participants have enrolled for the program.

The bank had announced the call for applications in July this year which received 100 applications.
During the selection, applicants showcased their products on making their products sustainable and scaling their businesses.
20 candidates with strong commitments were chosen afterwards, who will now join the six-month program including a 18-day residential action-based training and additionally receive one year mentorship services.
Among the 20 participants, 11 are women, 8 are from Kathmandu, 3 each from Lalitpur and Bhaktapur, and one each from Khotang, Rupandehi, Sunsari, Tanahun, Banke, and Argakhanchi.
These participants are engaged in the eco-friendly businesses such as manufacturing fabrics utilizing banana fibers, producing skin-care products from natural herbs, and crafting various designs of candles.
