IN-SPAN invites applications from Nepali innovators

India-Nepal Startup Partnership Network (IN-SPAN) is launching an 8-week, fully-funded startup training at IIT Madras, offering mentorship, hands-on learning, and internship opportunities

India-Nepal Startup Partnership Network (IN-SPAN), a new startup platform, has opened applications for Nepali startups with transformative ideas to join an 8-week, fully-funded training and innovation program at IIT Madras.

This program is delivered in collaboration between IIT Madras Pravartak and Tribhuvan University, as well as Kathmandu University, offering a hands-on learning experience, expert mentorship, and internship opportunities designed to help participants turn their ideas into viable startups.

Following the success of the earlier India-Nepal startup initiatives, including the 1st and 2nd India-Nepal Startup Connect, organized by the Embassy of India, Kathmandu, IN-SPAN aims to connect growing Nepali startups with India’s top innovation hub.

Program Overview:

Comprehensive 8-Week Entrepreneurial Journey

Course Commencement Date: 1st December 2025
Application Deadline: 15th November 2025

Selection Process: The applications will be reviewed by the selection committee, and shortlisted candidates will be interviewed online via video conference.

Certification: Participants who complete the program successfully will be provided a certificate by IIM Madras Pravartak.

Amenities: Selected participants will have travel, boarding, lodging, and course fees fully covered by the Embassy of India.

  • Week 1-4: Entrepreneurship Training
  • Week 5-6: Specialized Skill Training (including Solar Panel Installation and Maintenance, Artificial Intelligence, and Electronic Kits.)
  • Week 7-8: Internship Opportunities

Venue: IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation, IIT Madras Research Park, Chennai.
