Nepal B, a web platform to empower local MSMEs, has been launched.

Supported by the USAID, the initiative aims to improve local businesses’ connectivity with the international market, enabling them to grow and thrive.

Under the theme of ‘Internationalizing the Nepalese Business’, the platform was officially launched at the 4th  International Entrepreneurship Conclave, Connect IN, by Clock b Business Innovations.

The platform provides opportunities for access to network, mentorship, capital aid, custom support and jobs, among others.

It connects MSMEs with stakeholders such as banking and financial institutions, investors, business development service providers, mentors, export market and customs, and so on to help grow in the market. It simultaneously notifies about business events to enhance the flow of knowledge.

Currently, the platform features the following sectors — agriculture, tourism, and information and technology (IT).

Its product section enlists plants, herbal tea leaves, clothes and accessories, pickles, coffee, organic oils, paper gifts and decorations from agriculture and tourism sectors.

Its service section lists the following from tourism and IT sectors — software development, e-commerce, IT consulting and services, mobile app development, blockchain technology, hotels and adventure tourism, view and photography services, task planning and so on.

Additionally, the platform also offers capacity building courses related to business development. Its blogs and articles provide concise descriptions and insights for understanding the dynamic business environment.

Jaankaari is another platform designed specifically for MSMEs, offering a variety of resources to support their growth alongside news, updates, blogs, articles and other tools to address the diverse needs of MSMEs.
