Finn Church Aid, a Finnish NGO, has launched Aarohi—a 6-month flagship program tailored for women entrepreneurs aged 18 and above who are ready to launch or grow their businesses. Aarohi is designed to empower women navigating cultural barriers and gender disparities, encouraging them to lead confidently, embrace feedback, and turn insights into action. The program places a strong emphasis on inclusion, prioritizing participation from marginalized communities and individuals with disabilities.

30 entrepreneurs will be selected to participate in the program, which requires a commitment of 15–20 hours per month. The program will be based in the Kathmandu region, and the deadline to register is April 30, 2025. All applicants must submit a valid form of identification (citizenship card or passport) at the time of registration.

What does the program offer:

The program offers one on one mentorship to participants who will receive personalized guidance from experienced mentors.

The program will be delivered both virtually and in person, with four integrated modules focusing on entrepreneurial fundamentals, legal compliance, leadership, innovation, and scaling strategies. .

In addition, a user-friendly digital portal complements the training by offering easily digestible resources such as guides, videos, blogs, and case studies. The platform clarifies complex processes like accessing finance, handling bureaucratic hurdles, and navigating government schemes step by step.

Aarohi is a 6-month flagship program initiated by the Finnish NGO FCA (Finn Church Aid) and funded by the Embassy of Finland in Nepal along with Naisten Pankki (Women’s Bank), a Finnish women-led development fund.
