Flower exhibition begins at Bhrikutimandap

The 26th flower exhibition at Bhrikutimandap showcases a variety of flowers, plants, and gardening essentials, serving as a platform for floriculture enthusiasts and entrepreneurs.

The 26th flower exhibition has begun at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu organized by the Floriculture Association Nepal. The expo is running for four days beginning from 14th March (today) until 17th March Monday. The exhibition is aligned with the theme “Floriculture for a clean environment and economic prosperity.”

The four-day exhibition features 82 stalls showcasing and selling flowers and plants produced by local vendors. Visitors can explore 600 types of decorative indoor and outdoor plants, 500 varieties of flower and fruit plants, 300 types of ceramic and plastic pots, and 200 gardening and terrace farming essentials. 

The event also includes competitions in categories such as best landscaping, seasonal flowers, ornamental plants, flowering plants, floral decorations, and cut flowers (such as roses, gerberas, and carnations). Winners will receive cash prizes and certificates.

The exhibition is expected to provide a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs, enthusiastic students and researchers interested in floriculture.

Fiscal Year

Nepal’s fiscal year runs from 16th July (ongoing year) to 15th July (following year).
