The ‘Ratna Biz Summit 2.0’, organized by JCI Ratnanagar, concluded in Sauraha, Chitwan, with the aim of inspiring entrepreneurs and aspiring businesspersons to transform strategic ideas into actionable outcomes. The two-day summit, held on Baisakh 12 and 13 at the Royal Tiger Luxury Resort, focused on the theme ‘From Vision to Execution: Transforming Business Strategies’.
The event featured presentations from experts, entrepreneurs, and trainers on various topics related to industry, business, and the economy. On the first day, President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Chandra Dhakal, shed light on Nepal’s current business landscape and its potential. Similarly, former Finance Secretary Madhu Kumar Marasini gave an insightful presentation analyzing the country’s present economic condition and discussed pathways for progress.
On the second day, former President of the Chitwan Industry Association and young entrepreneur Raju Paudel, along with President of the Nepal Banana Producers Association, Bishnuhari Pant, shared their entrepreneurial journeys and the lessons they learned. Prakriti Basyal, Deputy Manager of Coca-Cola, spoke about her experience working in a multinational corporation and highlighted opportunities for collaboration with local entrepreneurs.
Kshitiz Jung Thapa, a trainer specializing in business management, provided training to participants on strategy development and problem-solving techniques.
According to Baburam Pariyar, President of JCI Ratnanagar, the summit was organized to encourage youth with an entrepreneurial mindset and to contribute positively to the business environment. Saurabh Rijal, General Secretary and coordinator of the summit, expressed confidence that the event would energize and motivate young individuals active in the business sector.
Following the success of last year’s first edition, this was the second iteration of the summit. It saw significant participation from entrepreneurs and aspiring businesspersons from Chitwan, Nawalpur, Makwanpur, Kaski, and surrounding districts.
