The Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs Forum (NYEF) has officially set the date for ‘Made in Nepal’ Expo for this Friday (11 April) and will take place at Campachaur, Narayangarh, Chitwan. The Expo will conclude on 15th April.
The expo is planned with the objective of encouraging Nepali citizens to support the economy by using or promoting goods and services made in Nepal.
The event not just focuses on promoting Nepali products but also encourages entrepreneurs to improve the quality of products and services in this changing Nepali market.
What to expect?
The expo brings together a diverse range of made-in-Nepal products, from handicrafts to innovative food items, all under one roof. This comprehensive showcase provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs to engage with the local market.
For visitors—
The event offers exhibitions of a wide range of products and services in a single location along with interaction with entrepreneurs and knowledge about their stories, and cultural programs and Nepalese cuisine at various food stalls.
For entrepreneurs and business owners
Participating businesses will benefit through increased brand visibility among targeted audiences. Here at the event they will also get a chance to further expand their idea or business with potential partnership opportunities. While the event will be covered and streamed in multiple media, this can also ensure a wide range of market exposure. They can also get direct consumer feedback from the visitors of the event.
Startup competition
Entrepreneurs are invited to present and pitch their business or idea for a chance to receive funding, mentorship, and prizes. The top startup or idea will have the opportunity to win NRs 50,000. The registration for the competition ends on 9th April.
How to apply?
To apply for the Startup Competition, interested entrepreneurs and business owners can message NYEF’s page about their startup with a contact number.
The NYEF held its first Made in Nepal campaign back in 2006 at Bhrikuti Mandap.
