DV Excellus Pvt. Ltd. has secured a significant investment of NRs twenty million Aadhyanta Fund Management to fuel the growth of its flagship agri-fintech platform, KHETI.
According to the company in its Linkedin post, the collaboration, supported by UKAid Nepal’s CASA Programme, marks a major step in transforming Nepal’s agricultural ecosystem by offering farmers easier access to collateral-free loans and essential agricultural inputs.
The KHETI platform, designed to empower smallholder farmers, has reached over 15,000 farmers across Nepal and has disbursed NRs 150 million in loans, helping farmers improve their livelihoods and enhance their productivity, says the company.
With this new funding, DV Excellus plans to further strengthen the KHETI platform, which will continue to offer collateral-free loans up to NRs 200,000 in partnership with NMB Bank.
KHETI App envisages becoming a one-stop platform to support farmers in improving their productivity and financial well-being, offering farmers with access to agricultural services, financial products, quality inputs, and guidance for transitioning to commercial farming.
