Lalitpur Metropolitan City (LMC), in collaboration with Gyeongsang National University (GNU) from South Korea, has opened applications for a two-day Startup Entrepreneurship Symposium on “Using AI in Startup/Entrepreneurship”, scheduled for January 14-15, 2026, at Delight Party Venue, next to Mahalaxmisthan, Lalitpur.
The program is designed for early-stage ideators, students, and startup founders under 40 years of age who are comfortable using technology and AI tools and can bring a laptop or mobile device.
According to organisers, preference will be given to applicants from Lalitpur, and participation is limited to 50 candidates on a first-come, first-served basis. The objective of the event is “to understand the startup and entrepreneurship process and apply Artificial Intelligence to develop the chosen product or service idea.”
Programme structure and selection
- Bootcamp format: Two-day intensive sessions facilitated by GNU professors
- Teams: 10 teams of 5 participants each will be formed. Applicants will submit startup ideas, of which 10 ideas will be selected. Participants whose ideas are chosen will lead the respective teams, while others will be allocated across teams.
- Rewards: Top three teams will receive prizes and mentoring sessions, selected by officials from LMC and GNU
