Kathmandu — Applications are now open for the Entrepreneurship Skill-Building Program, a flagship initiative under the U.S.–Nepal Commercial Diplomacy Series, aimed at empowering aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs across all seven provinces of Nepal.
Led by the U.S. Embassy in Nepal, the program is co-organized by the International Development Institute (IDI) and Aadyanta Advisory, in partnership with the American Chamber of Commerce in Nepal (AmCham Nepal) and the Global Impact Collective. The initiative seeks to address Nepal’s critical “missing middle” financing challenge by equipping more than 200 entrepreneurs with practical, market-ready skills.
The two-day, hands-on entrepreneurship and mentorship accelerator will be delivered across seven cities nationwide, focusing on key areas such as business planning, digital marketing, financial literacy, and investment readiness. Participants will also benefit from mentorship by experienced Nepali and diaspora professionals, as well as guaranteed warm introductions to potential financiers and buyers, helping bridge the gap between ideas and investment.
Designed for founders ready to move from intention to action, the program emphasizes applied learning, real-world insights, and access to strong local and global entrepreneurial networks.
“Having an idea is only the beginning. What many entrepreneurs lack is structured guidance, practical skills, and the right connections. This program is designed to bridge that gap,” the organizers stated.
Entrepreneurs interested in building, growing, or formalizing their ventures are encouraged to apply.
